In the past 3 weeks I have taken a series of breastfeeding portraits for mothers from all over the Bay Area (click here to see the entire gallery), and I have fallen in love in this project. Mostly because of all the comments I have received from many of the moms after they saw their pictures.
From
“it was my dream to have breastfeeding photos taken with my son”
to
“I showed the picture to my mom and she said she couldn’t stop looking at it”
I could not believed how thrilled and happy were all the moms to be able to participate in such a session. I think, in my whole career I haven’t met a mom who was so excited for a regular family session as those mom were for their breastfeeding sessions.
In my opinion breastfeeding mothers should be showcased and not asked to cover because it’s a very healthy approach to our nature, to our bodies, and because it’s beautiful.
Now it’s your turn. Fill the blanks:
“In my opinion breastfeeding mothers should be showcased not asked to cover because ______________.”
This mamma is not only a breastfeeding hero but also a coordinator of a first (and hopeful not last), annual potluck picnic focused on supporting breastfeeding in public:
Mark this day in your calendars, people. They also will be offering short breastfeeding mini-sessions in exchange for a small donation to LLL.
If you’d like to chat about your session with me, please email to ewasamples(at)gmail.com
Also, feel free to subscribe to my newsletter and in return get on an exclusive list of mini-sessions, and model calls.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Ewa, your Family Photographer
